USATF NE mountain series all-time - Milestones

 Milestones:

Only a couple of milestones reached for the all-time series lists.

Arthur Bellerive passed 5,000 points with 5015.22

Lisa Daab passed 1,000 points with 1030.13

All time results at Pack Monadnock

The Pack Monadnock race stretches back about 30 years.  This year was the first time the race was contested in August.  The heat and humidity (and the ongoing pandemic) may have resulted in a relatively small finishing field and very few times that crack into the top all-time lists.  For all the lists check out the pack all and tops.
 
Samuel Fazioli took the overall win with the 24^th fastest time ever and the fastest time since 2012.
Richard Stockdale ran the 13^th fastest M70 time.
 
On the ladies side Jacqueline Shakar ran the 2^nd fastest ever in the F60.
Kara Haas had the 10^th fastest in the F50.
Agnes Macy was 7^th in the F19.

Wachusett Mountain history

2021 – The race was moved to August (08/08/21) due to the ongoing pandemic.  This may have had an impact on the number of entrants (along with the many other races being held on this weekend) as 189 completed the uphill and 154 continued on for the full 10k.  that was the smallest field since 1995.  Once again, the race had a “race within the race”.  All runners were timed to the summit and could then choose to not continue, or to continue on for the “down” portion.  The Up-race was used for USATF NE mountain series scoring and the Up/down race was the official race for award winners.  Jacob Wormald (GCS-20:57) and Kassandra Marin (WRT-23:17) were tops in the climb.  Vandir Sergio (38:14) moved up from ninth place on the summit to take the win in the 10k making up nearly two minutes over the final 5km! Kassandra Marin (WRT-43:43) held onto her top spot at the summit and won the 10k by 25 seconds.
 

All-time titles: Kara Haas became only the third person to have an overall win and two different age group wins.  She also Became only the fourth person to have three category wins joining Lisa Doucett, Tim Van Orden, and Dave Dunham.
